Koumara (Strawberry tree fruit): Close your eyes and whisper the word!
Can you see the beauty of the forest of Ikaria from where we collect these beautiful, little, red fruit?
Can you see the light shining through the trees?
Can you imagine our joy being in this place in the silence of the forest?
We love koumara, not just because it is a tasty fruit in its own right, but also because it goes perfectly with honey.
Its beautiful smell inspires us to create new recipes. Maybe next time we will surprise you with a new combination.
